VOLUNTEER
We are a 100% volunteer organization, there is no paid staff. That means we need YOUR HELP! Become a volunteer! We need dog walkers, foster homes, dog transport, assistance at special events, and much more. Email us if you’re interested in volunteering!
FOSTER Homes
We believe fostering should be rewarding — not financially stressful. That’s why we provide everything you need to care for your foster dog.
We cover all food, supplies, and veterinary care while your foster dog is in your home. This includes essentials such as food, bowls, crates, collars, leashes, ID tags, vaccinations, potty pads, blankets, beds, toys, and more. Our goal is to fully support you so you can focus on what matters most — helping your foster dog feel safe, loved, and prepared for their forever home.
The only time a foster home would be responsible for medical expenses is if treatment is required due to negligence. While you’re welcome to purchase additional items if you choose, reimbursement is not available unless pre-approved by our President — and extra purchases are never required.
Ready to Get Started?
Becoming a foster is easy! Simply complete our adoption application and write “FOSTER HOME” in the section labeled Dog Interested In.
Please ensure your application is filled out completely and accurately before submitting. Missing information may delay the process, and false information will result in automatic denial.
Why Fostering Matters
Our mission is to place dogs in happy, loving FURever homes where both the dog and adopter thrive. Foster homes are the heart of that mission — without you, saving lives wouldn’t be possible.
Once approved as a foster, you are also approved to adopt. However, approval does not guarantee adoption of your current foster dog. Each adoption decision is based on the specific needs of the dog to ensure they are placed in the environment where they can live their very best life. Because foster homes are temporary stepping stones, the dog you foster may or may not be the ideal long-term match for your household.
Multiple Breed Rescue reserves the right to decline any application if we believe a dog’s needs would not be fully met. Our priority is — and always will be — the safety, happiness, and lifelong well-being of our dogs.
If you’re ready to open your heart and home, we’re ready to support you every step of the way.
KENNeL HELP
Every dog’s journey to a forever home begins with us. While we are proudly foster-home based, each dog first arrives at our founder’s dedicated boarding facility, where they receive care, attention, and a fresh start.
We’re always looking for compassionate volunteers to help care for the dogs during this important transition time. Whether it’s early morning cuddles or evening walks, you can make a meaningful difference. Volunteers are welcome every day from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM — including holidays.
If you have a heart for dogs and a little time to give, we’d love to have you join our rescue family

HELP From Home
There are so many meaningful ways to make a difference — and many of them can be done right from the comfort of your own home.
We’re always in need of dedicated volunteers to help with essential behind-the-scenes work, including processing adoption applications, responding to emails, checking in with adopters, writing engaging bios for the dogs in our care, gathering donations for events, researching community events, and identifying grant opportunities that help us continue our lifesaving mission.
These vital tasks keep our rescue running smoothly and help more dogs find loving homes. If you’re organized, compassionate, and looking for a flexible way to give back, we’d love to welcome you to our team. Every email answered, every bio written, and every grant found helps change a dog’s life.
