Volunteer to Foster
Information you should know:
Dogs in foster care are to be placed only by an authorized Multiple Breed Rescue Representative. You will not be allowed (or expected) to place the dog on your own.
Foster homes are responsible for the costs of any medical attention that result from an injury due to negligence for the caregiver.
Multiple Breed Rescue will provide necessary medical expenses for all foster dogs. A designated Multiple Breed Rescue Representative MUST authorize all vet expenses. We will also provide you with a crate, identification tag, leash, collar, flea and heartworm prevention for the dog in your care.
Multiple Breed Rescue will proved food, beds, toys if necessary. Foster homes can purchase on their own and claim expenses on their taxes.
Mileage driven for transporting foster dog or for the rescue can be claimed on taxes.
